Bio/Description

James (Jimmy) Juno is an NSF Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Iowa and a member of the Gkeyll team led by Dr. Ammar Hakim. As part of the Gkeyll team, Jimmy leads the development of the continuum Vlasov-Maxwell solver, and utilizes this novel tool to study and understand the details of phase space dynamics in collisionless shocks and plasma turbulence with his University of Iowa mentor, Professor Gregory Howes.
