Bio/Description
Dr. Huang's research has covered a broad range of theoretical plasma physics topics with applications to laboratory, fusion, space, and astrophysical plasmas. His recent interest is to understand the intricate relation between turbulence and reconnection. In particular, his research focuses on reconnection and turbulence energy cascade mediated by the plasmoid instability, spontaneous stochasticization of the magnetic field, and particle energization in plasma turbulence.
